Kia India has began testing the Carens makeover in the nation, with a launch expected early next year. The automaker is currently developing two further products for a 2024 launch: the new-generation Carnival and the EV9.
Kia Carens Facelift Features
Kia India has revised the Carens portfolio with the addition of new variants and expanded its feature list. This three-row MPV is now available with a six-speed manual transmission linked to the 1.5-litre diesel engine. Aside from that, the top-spec X-Line trim includes a dashcam, automatic window up and down with voice commands, and a seven-seat layout.
Cameras on the outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs) have also been spotted, indicating the availability of a 360-degree configuration for the first time on the MPV. While little of the interior has been revealed, the observed test mule includes black cloth upholstery on the seats, which are anticipated to have seat ventilation like the existing model. It will also have the same single-pane sunroof as the existing model.
Kia Carens Facelift Launch Date
The Kia Carens facelift is scheduled to arrive in India in 2025 at a higher price than the present model. It competes with the Maruti Ertiga, Toyota Rumion, and the Maruti XL6. It is also a more economical option than the Toyota Innova Hycross, Toyota Innova Crysta, and Maruti Invicto.
Kia Carens Facelift Price
