The latest model in OPPO’s well-liked Reno series, the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro, have been formally introduced in China. The Reno 11 series is being replaced by these new models, which provide superior features like AI capabilities, more RAM, better cameras, and better battery life.

The Oppo Reno 12 series is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy SoC, with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage that can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card. The phones run Android 14-based ColorOS 14.1 and promise three years of OS upgrades and four years of security updates.

The Oppo Reno 12 5G also includes a 50-megapixel sensor with OIS, an 8-megapixel sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 32-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.

The OPPO Reno 12 costs Rs 32,999 for the single 8GB + 256GB model. The Reno 12 Pro is available in two variants: 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB, priced at Rs 36,999 and Rs 40,999, respectively. The first sale is set to take place on July 25.
