Jaguar Land Rover has made history by announcing their intention to switch to all-electric vehicles very soon. Official photos and an announcement about Land Rover’s all-electric Range Rover were made. For the first time, testing has been observed on public roads by the same. Unexpectedly, testing for the previously unannounced electric Range Rover Sport has also begun. Let’s explore this.
Electric Range Rover And Sport

The JLR Group, which owns Jaguar and Land Rover, has developed a new roadmap for an all-EV portfolio. Alongside this, Jaguar’s product selection will see a dramatic change in product positioning. Before it was released or shown, Land Rover had already teased the electric Range Rover in formal images. Similar testing on public roads has been observed, indicating a likely debut in 2025 or early 2026. The electric Range Rover Sport, which was never shown in pictures nor made public in any way, is the most intriguing aspect of this development.
The two test mules had no disguise at all and were seen in Southern Europe. This is because these vehicles’ designs haven’t changed at all. Except for the Land Rover emblem and the blacked-out front grill, both of these test mules were nearly identical to their ICE counterparts. A few testing apparatuses are fastened to these cars, and one full-size electric Range Rover even had a piece of its back bumper missing. It is to be anticipated in test mules. However, it appeared as though the majority of the components for the electric Range Rover and Range Rover Sport had been finalized, and they were almost ready for manufacturing.
