The HMD 225 4G might soon be available for purchase. Although the corporation hasn’t officially announced the feature phone’s introduction, details regarding the product have appeared online. The essential features, colour options, and design of the rumoured phone have been leaked. The display, battery, CPU, and other expected phone features are all exposed in the leak. The phone under speculation appears to be a rebranded Nokia 225 4G, which was updated earlier this year, based on all we know about it.
A post on X (previously Twitter) by user @smashx_60 revealed the HMD 225 4G specifications. It looks like the bar phone has a rectangular screen with thick bezels, one rear camera, and an LED flash. In addition to call answer and reject buttons, the keypad section has specialized navigation.
The HMD 225 4G’s rumoured design is comparable to the Nokia 225 4G’s. The HMD logo, rather than the one found on the Nokia model, is etched in the centre of the back panel. There are three colour options for the phone: pink, green, and blue.
According to the leak, the HMD 225 4G is anticipated to include a 2.4-inch IPS LCD screen with a maximum brightness of 400 nits. The Unisoc T107 chipset might power the device. It is also probably going to have a 2-megapixel back camera that can record HD videos.
According to the leak, the HMD 225 4G may have a 1,450mAh battery and a USB Type-C charging connection. It is anticipated that the phone will have dual 4G LTE, FM radio, and Bluetooth 5.2 support. In addition, it might include an IP52 dust and splash-resistant rating and a 3.5mm audio jack.
