The revised Cooper S and the Countryman Electric, which are priced ex-showroom at Rs. 44.9 lakh and Rs. 54.9 lakh, respectively, have been introduced by Mini in India. September of this year will see the start of deliveries of the new Mini Cooper S and the Mini Countryman Electric.
Mini Cooper S
Along with a few design enhancements and new functions, the redesigned Mini Cooper S will be offered in Classic and Flavoured packs. A digital OLED panel, Mini OS9, an intelligent personal assistant, a digital key plus, and a fish eye camera are among the noteworthy innovations.
A 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing 201 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque powers the Mini Cooper S. It is coupled to an automated transmission that distributes power to the front wheels. Electric variants of the Cooper are also offered for sale in international regions.
Mini Countryman Electric
The Mini Countryman Electric, which is built on the BMW iX1 chassis, is making its debut on American soil. Powered with a 66.45kWh battery pack, the Countryman Electric has a WLTP-certified range of 462 kilometres and can be fully charged in 29 minutes from 10 to 80 per cent. Together, the electric motor and battery pack produce 250 Nm and 201 horsepower.
