Poco Buds X1 and Poco M6 Plus 5G will be released in India on August 1. According to earlier rumours, the next smartphone is probably just the Redmi 13 5G under a new name, therefore it will have many of the same features. Poco has already leaked the handset’s design and hinted at a few of these capabilities. The manufacturer has verified the phone’s processor, camera, and display specifications. The Poco M6 Plus 5G’s colour selections have also been made public.
According to a press release from the business, the Poco M6 Plus 5G will include a 6.79-inch full-HD+ display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is stated that the phone has the only dual-sided glass design in the segment.
The Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE (accelerated edition) CPU from Qualcomm and up to 8GB of RAM will power the Poco M6 Plus 5G, the company recently said. Out of the box, the phone will run HyperOS, which is based on Android 14.
A dual rear camera system with a 108-megapixel primary sensor and compatibility for a 3x in-sensor zoom has been verified by Poco for the M6 Plus 5G. The 13-megapixel front camera on the phone will be used for video calls and selfies, the company has now revealed.
A side-mounted fingerprint sensor will be included in the Poco M6 Plus 5G’s security features. Its thickness is 8.32 mm, and its construction is IP53-rated to withstand dust and splashes. There will be three colour options for the phone: Misty Lavender, Ice Silver, and Graphite Black.
The Poco M6 Plus 5G could cost Rs. 14,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, according to an earlier report. It is verified to be available on Flipkart.
