The Joint Director Central for JKSCERT released a statement:

All papers planned for the 24th, 26th, and 29th of March in the soft zone and the 26th and 29th of March in the hard zone are affected by the postponement. “All concerned parties are notified that the Middle Standard Examinations, which were originally scheduled to take place on March 24th, 26th, and 29th for the soft zone and on March 26th and 29th for the hard zone, have been postponed,” the official message states.

Concerns over how the affected students’ exams will be administered. The JKSCERT’s assurance that new dates for both the Hard and Soft Zones will be provided soon.

Unexpected difficulties forced a reevaluation of the initial intentions to administer the regional language paper for the eighth grade simultaneously in both easy and hard zones on April 7.

The question papers and references for the Middle Standard Examination 2024, together with other confidential materials, will be sent to the Kashmir division on March 23, 2024. However, the regional language paper that was supposed to take place on March 24, 2024.
